There are various weight loss methods available nowadays in the form of diets, slimming pills, and weight loss programs etc that guarantee you a definite weight loss. Whatever may be the success of each of these methods, the most successful strategy to lose weight remains a combination of a restricted calorie diet and regular exercise.

For each pound of weight loss your body should consume approximately 3500 calories. Therefore, according to your daily calorie requirements, a daily calorie restriction of 500 calories in your diet and an extra consumption of 500 calories in the form of exercise, you can burn a total of 1000 calories in day. That amounts to 7000 calories in a week or approximately a weight loss of 2 pounds in one week.

You need to plan your meals with a moderate reduced-calorie diet.  Below is the example of foods that you can include in your diet as they are sure to help control or lessen your weight:

Whole grains: They are a form of complex carbohydrates and keep you full for a long time.

Fruits and Vegetables: Are rich in important vitamins and minerals and also contain a lot of fiber. They also keep you full for a long time.

Low-fat dairy or soy milk: They are high in calcium and contain low fat ingredients.

Green Tea: Green tea contains phytochemicals that have been shown to promote weight loss.

Vegetarian meals:<img src=”http://www.fatburnersreviewed.net/wp- You may incorporate more of vegetarian foods in your daily lifestyle as vegetable diet contains fewer calories than any meat based diet. But it will only work if you know how to balance your diet. If you are opting for a Vegetarian meal, make sure that you pay attention to the amount of protein, B12 and iron you intake.  Since you are not going to consume meat, make sure to eat alternative foods that include the mentioned nutrients.  This will ensure that your body is still getting the right nutrition that it needs.

While on a restricted diet for weight loss, should avoid all types of fried foods, processed and packaged foods, fast foods and sugary and aerated drinks. Limit your sugar intake in the form of cakes, cookies, muffins, candies, ice creams puddings etc. Follow portion control and take small servings at a time. Drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated.

Apart from restricting your diet, you also need to perform regular cardiovascular exercises such as brisk walking, running, jogging and aerobics. A daily cardiovascular exercise of at least 30-40 minutes is essential for a successful weight loss program. Your body need to burn off fats and at the same time maintain or improve the amount of muscle for a better metabolism. You can do this by combining cardiovascular exercises with resistance weight trainings.
